MGT 5860 - Project Management (3) Credit Hours
The Project Management Institute (PMI) defines a project as “a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result.” Organizations have increased their adoption of projects as a means to improve efficiencies, speed, and quality to achieve those outcomes. This course will cover the fundamental components of project management per the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) including project integration, project scope management, project time and cost management, quality management, human resource considerations, communications, risk management, procurement management, and stakeholder engagement. Only open to MS Management students. Differential Course Fee will be assessed. Business Graduate Course Fee will be assessed.
