NURS 7430 - Primary Care of Children

(3) Credit Hours

This course promotes the student’s transition to the role of advanced practice registered nurse (APRN). Students will be expected to synthesize the concepts of assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic management of disease processes in pediatric patients. Emphasis is placed on common acute and chronic conditions. Prerequisites: NURS 7100 , NURS 7110 , NURS 7120 , NURS 7220 or Director approval. Corequisites: NURS 7440 or Director approval. Only open to Acute Nurse Practitioner DNP students. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
