ENCE 5620 - Traffic Operation and Control

The purpose of the course is to introduce the graduate students to various aspects of design, operation, technology, and control in the field of Traffic Engineering. In particular, the course focuses on the different components of the traffic system, traffic-stream characteristics, level of service concepts, traffic control of urban streets and highways, and intelligent transportation systems. Prerequisites: Department Head approval. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
