PSPS 5312 - Ethical and Legal Aspects of Nonprofit Management

This course examines the legal and ethical issues confronting nonprofit organizations. The emphasis of this course will be laws pertaining to creating, governing, and/or dissolving nonprofit organizations, focusing on governance, accountability, oversight and ethical behavior for those on the path to becoming nonprofit leaders and board members. Prerequisites: Admission to the MPA program or Certificate in Nonprofit Management program or permission of the MPA program coordinator.
