This course provides hands-on learning of how to use analytical techniques and algorithms to support business decision making in various industries. It focuses on the data preparation for analytics, exploratory and visualization techniques to provide insights into a dataset and uncover the underlying structure. It incorporates extensive use of data, quantitative analysis, descriptive analytics, and fact-based management to drive decisions and actions. This class uses a real-life data project and state of the art software packages. Prerequisites: One semester of business stats with a C or better or at least 80% in Statistics module or DATA 5835, or Department Head approval. Restricted to MBA, MACC and MS Data Analytics or Business Analytics Post Baccalaureate Certificate. Differential Course Fee will be assessed. Business Graduate Course Fee will be assessed.
