HIST 4370R - Topics in Food and the Environment


(3) Credit Hours

This course is an advanced seminar or colloquium for majors in history or related field and will focus on a particular theme related to food and the environment. The chronological and geographic contexts will vary per the theme. These courses will emphasize food, the environment, health and nutrition, and food systems as cultural and historical constructs, and as such, will emphasize the centrality of context, contingency, causality, and change over time. Every 3-4 semesters.
