An introduction to nutrition science, emphasizing physiological and biochemical interactions between foods and the human body. Explores the relationship between foods, nutrition, and disease promotion/prevention. Applies nutrition to individual food behaviors. Open only to HHP majors, Interdisciplinary Educational Studies: Child and Family Studies majors, Nursing majors, or Nutrition minors.
