GEOL 3070 - Geology of Tennessee (3) Credit Hours
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to relate their knowledge of geology to the geologic evolution of Tennessee, formulate reasonable models of Earth processes, relate important geological resources to the state of Tennessee, and communicate technical aspects of Tennessee regional geology to an audience of peers. Mandatory field trips. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisites: A previous 3-4 credit course in geology (excluding GEOL 2100) or Department Head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
