An examination of the personal and social values at issue in the environmental problems of urban and nonurban regions. Attention to the emerging concern for an environmental ethic. Prerequisites: ESC 1500 or Department Head approval. May be registered as PHIL 4840. Credit not allowed in both ESC 4840 and PHIL 4840.
