NURS 3170 - Pharmacology

An overview of pharmacology including drug classifications, action, use, nursing implications and drug interactions.Fall and Spring semesters. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisites: Completion of the following courses with a C or higher: NURS 2520, NURS 2550, NURS 2555, NURS 2260 or Department Head approval. Corequisites: NURS 3150, NURS 3155, NURS 3160, NURS 3165, NURS 3100 or RN-BSN major or Department Head approval. Open to Nursing majors only. Differential course fee will be assessed.
