CPSC 3130 - .NET Development


(3) Credit Hours

This course will cover the practical aspects of multi-tier application development using the .NET framework. Students will be introduced to the basics of distributed application development, Web Service development and .NET remoting. Technologies covered will include, among others, the Common Language Runtime (CLR), .NET framework classes, C#, ASP.NET, and ADO.NET. Students will also be introduced to service oriented architecture, design, performance, security, content managements systems and deployment issues encountered in building multi-tier distributed applications. Prerequisites: CPSC 1110  with a grade of C or better. Only open to BAS IT Cybersecurity majors. Differential course fee will be assessed.
