SOC 2320 - Diversity in American Society (SB) (3) Credit Hours
This course includes a critical analysis of cultural and identity diversity of the North American population using the perspective of the sociological imagination. The impact on social institutions such as family, education, economic and political life in the United States, and current research on the consequences and controversies surrounding immigration, racial, ethnic, and identity groups are addressed from the perspective of major socio-cultural theories.
