DATA 4290 - Simulation Modeling


(3) Credit Hours

This course introduces Monte Carlo and discrete event simulation modeling and analysis of business problems in an uncertain environment. Students will learn to develop complex quantitative models using cutting edge software platforms. Applications from a variety of business disciplines including finance, marketing, operations, scheduling, and staffing will be discussed. On demand. Prerequisites: DATA 3560  with a C or better or Department Head approval. Junior standing. Business Analytics majors only. Differential course fee will be assessed.
