SOC 2200 - Sociology of Globalization (SB) (3) Credit Hours
Examination of the increasing globalization of political, social, economic, and individual processes. Topics include the effects of globalization on the changing nature of work, the homogenization of cultures, religious fundamentalism as response, the decline of the nation-state, rise of technology, and the impact on the self.
