DATA 2140 - Data Modeling for Business (3) Credit Hours
This course covers using spreadsheet software to build and analyze models to solve business problems. Topics covered include importing and manipulating data, using built-in functions, performing sensitivity analysis, preparing reports, and writing macros to create applications. Prerequisites: DATA 1000 or CPSC 1000 with a minimum grade of C, MGT 2110 or DATA 2130 or MATH 2100 with a minimum grade of C, and Math ACT score of 26 or above or MATH 1130 or MATH 1710 with a minimum grade of C or MATH 1720 or MATH 1830 or MATH 1910 or MATH 1950 , or Department Head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed.
