Theory and use of X-ray diffraction to identify and characterize minerals. Powder diffraction methods are emphasized. Fall semester. Lecture 1 hour. Pre or Corequisites: GEOL 3410, or Department Head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
