CPSC 1100 - Fundamentals of Computer Science (4) Credit Hours
An introduction to computer science concepts and computer software development using a higher level language. Algorithms, flowcharting, programming, and documentation of numerical and non-numerical problems. Introduction to computer science terminology and concepts such as computer hardware and computer application areas.Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 3 hours.Prerequisites: MATH ACT 26 or above or MATH 1130 , MATH 1710 , MATH 1720 , MATH 1730 , MATH 1830 , 1910, 1920, MATH 1950 , or MATH 1960 with a minimum grade of C or Department Head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed. Differential course fee will be assessed.
