EDUC 5981 - Internship I (3) Credit Hours
A supported and intensive internship for candidates seeking teaching licensure while serving in an educational and professionally related capacity with a school district or related organization. Internship is designed to provide aspiring educators with a hands-on experience in the field of teaching. Throughout the internship, candidates will work closely with experienced teachers, apply teaching skills, and develop a deeper understanding of the teaching profession. This immersive internship offers candidates the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real classroom settings. Candidates for internship must be recommended by a school district, or related organization, and approved by the School of Education. Fall and Spring semesters. Prerequisites: School of Education approval; school district/organization approval. Satisfactory/No Credit.
