PSY 5370R - Practicum in Psychological Science (3) Credit Hours
The psychological science practicum allows the student to explore a topic of interest under the close supervision of a faculty member. The course will be tailored to the research and/or community engagement interests of the student and faculty mentor, and the course activities will help students develop skills required of psychological scientists. Activities may include directed readings, development of a scientific paper and/or presentation, applied work in the community, assisting a faculty member with a research project, carrying out an independent research project, or other activities deemed appropriate. Prerequisites: Department Head approval.
