Rates and mechanisms of homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions, with emphasis on interaction of chemical kinetics and transport phenomena. Design, analysis and scale-up of batch and continuous chemical reactors, with emphasis on non-isothermal reactors. Numerical methods and use of the computer to solve chemical reaction engineering problems. Fall or Spring semester. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
