Exploration of scientific and technological principles and practical conversion applications of sustainable electricenergy sources including solar, wind, hydro, biomass, geothermal, and ocean. Understanding the fundamental concept of electric power system, electric power grid, and smart grid. Distributed generation and energy storage technologies as well as the economics of distributed resources. Power system issues associated with integration of distributed generation resources into the electricity grid/smart grid. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
