The biology of amphibians and non-avian reptiles with a strong emphasis on morphology, physiology, diversity, distribution, taxonomy, ecology, evolution and ethology. Laboratory includes problem solving and an in-depth approach to the identification of regional and global diversity as well as dissections, demonstrations and field trips.Fall Even Years.Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours.Prerequisites: Graduate Standing or Department Head Approval.Corequisites: ESC 5090L.May be registered as BIOL 5090. Credit may not be earned in both BIOL 5090 and ESC 5090.Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.Standard Letter Grade.
