ETR 5885 - Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Innovation is critical for survival and growth in today’s climate of increasing globalization, technological change, market transition, and business model modification. Yet, most corporations struggle with innovation within the traditional management model. Corporate entrepreneurship provides the context and infrastructure for sustained innovation within established organizations. The focus of this course is on the entrepreneurial processes and principles needed in established organizations for successful strategic innovation.Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in FIN or PMBA 5820, MGT or PMBA 5250, ACC or PMBA 5855, and MKT or PMBA 5860; or department head approval.  Restricted to MBA majors. Credit not allowed for both ETR 5885 and PMBA 5885. Differential Course Fee will be assessed. Business Graduate Course Fee will be assessed.
