HHP 5495 - Physical Activity and Public Health Graduate Seminar (1) Credit Hours
The seminar provides MS or MPH/PAH students with an opportunity to explore current physical activity and public health issues and become familiar with DHHP public health faculty members’ research and experience in physical activity and public health practice. The content of the seminar will advance the student’s analytic assessment, communication, leadership and systems thinking skills. Students in the course will prepare and lead at least one discussion about current physical activity and public health practice or policy related research, an international, national, state, or local program or issue, or a case study. Prerequisite: admission into the Physical Activity and Health program or department head approval. Graded on a satisfactory/no credit basis.
