EMBA 6050 - International Finance

This course is designed for EMBA students with limited formal prior exposure to the study of financial markets and financial management in a global setting. The course begins with the essential building blocks of financial analysis and evolves into a wide-ranging discussion on a variety of hot-button issues in global finance. This course seeks to inculcate an understanding of securities markets, the risk-return trade-off, valuation techniques, global project and risk management, and the financing of international trade. The course offers students an analytical feel for issues in finance with the objective of enabling students to take ideas from the classroom to their workplace. Open to EMBA majors only. Credit not allowed toward the degree in both EMBA 6050 and FIN 5760. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
