ESC 5660 - Geographic Information Systems

(3) Credit Hours

Introduction to fundamental principles of geographic information systems (GIS). Applications, data structures and basic functions of GIS. GIS computer programs are used to demonstrate basic GIS functions.Every fourth semester.Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 2 hours.Prerequisites: Department Head approval.Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
