This course is designed to provide students with comprehensive coverage of the many traditional and innovative revenue acquisition methods available to sport, outdoor recreation, and tourism organizations. The scope of this course will range from youth events to professional franchises and international governing bodies. Emphasis will be placed on free-market principles, best practices for marketing initiatives, and opportunities for entrepreneurship through sport, outdoor recreation, and tourism.
