ETCM 1740 - Surveying

Fundamental concepts and practices of surveying. Theory of measurements and field notes; methods of obtaining horizontal and vertical distances, angles and directions; use of levels, transits, theodolites, and total stations; construction surveying, curves and volumes. Spring semester. Lecture 2 hours and laboratory 2 hours. Pre or Corequisites: MATH 1720 or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed. Differential course fee will be assessed.
