HHP 4800 - Internship in Sport, Outdoor Recreation, and Tourism

The internship provides a supervised transition experience for students moving from the academic arena to the employment arena. The internship provides the student, the agency mentor, and the faculty supervisor with an opportunity to assess student performance in a pre-employment setting and to use that assessment to enhance job performance and job placement. Prerequisites: HHP 2120 and HHP 2130, approval of the SORT Internship Committee or department head approval.
