GEOL 4740 - Water Quality Survey

(3) Credit Hours

Concepts of water quality, including sampling methods, units of concentration, and simple analytical procedures. Concepts are augmented by field and laboratory studies of ground and surface water. Field work. On demand. Prerequisites: GEOL 1110/GEOL 1110L or GEOL 1230; CHEM 1110/CHEM 1110L, CHEM 1120/CHEM 1120L; and approval of the department head. CHEM 3010/CHEM 3010L and GEOL 3410 are recommended.Senior standing.
