GEOL 3420 - Petrology

(4) Credit Hours

In-depth study of igneous and metamorphic rocks, including classification, genesis, and evolution. Field trips. Spring semester. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours.  Prerequisites: GEOL 3410  with a minimum grade of C or department head approval. Corequisites: GEOL 3420L or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
