FREN 3310 - Textual Analysis I : Premodern Literature

Study of principal works and/or genres from the Premodern Era (i.e, the Middle Ages through the 18th century). Traditional survey or thematic approach to fiction, essay, poetry, and/or drama, with attention to the contemporary cultural, political, and social context of French literature. Prerequisites: FREN 2120 with a minimum grade of C or placement, or department head approval.
