BIOL 4430 - Bioremediation
(4) Credit Hours
A study of the potential use of biological systems in the remediation of areas contaminated with toxic pollutants. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours. Prerequisites: BIOL 3060 and BIOL 3250 and BIOL 3350 with minimum grades of C; and BIOL 4220 ; and CHEM 3010 ; or department head approval. Corequisites: BIOL 4430L or department head approval. May be registered as ESC 4430 . Credit not allowed in both BIOL 4430 and ESC 4430 . Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
