PSPS 4310 - Gender and Law (3) Credit Hours
An examination of the development of the legal definitions of gender in the United States, specifically centering on the tensions that occur in a democratic system when disenfranchised groups seek power, with attention to the role that the law and legal structures play in the pursuit of equality. Prerequisites: PSPS 3000 or department head approval. May be registered as WGSS 4310 . Credit not allowed in both PSPS 4310 and WGSS 4310 .
