ECHD 3260 - Group Studies: Child Life Practicum II

(3) Credit Hours

This course builds on experiences provided in Child Life Practicum I and is designed to provide students who are interested in pursing a child life certification with 50 hours of clinical experience. The practicum includes observation opportunities for students to explore the following theory and interventions related to the child life practice including; child life assessments, developmental theory integration, therapeutic play interventions, rapport building.  Prerequisites: 3.0 GPA required, ECHD 2000  and ECHD 3250  or department head approval.
