NURS 2300 - Introduction to Forensic Nursing (3) Credit Hours
This course provides an introduction to the field of forensic nursing and the basic concepts utilized when working with victims and/or perpetrators of violence and trauma. A broad-based interdisciplinary perspective is employed to introduce students to the forensic nursing field. Experiential learning hours are required. Students will experience a curriculum that requires them to think about sensitive issues including violence, crimes, and legal/ethical issues. Pre or Corequisites: BIOL 2060 , BIOL 2080 and PSY 1010 or department head approval. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
