ENGL 4900r - Rhetoric and Professional Writing Workshop (3) Credit Hours
Students will read intensively in the scholarly discourse related to rhetorical principles to a specific area of professional writing, such as composing in the digital age, methods of research for workplace settings, copyright and intellectual property concerns, the ethics of representation and language use in professional texts, etc. Students will engage that discourse through discussion, presentation, and writing. Seminar focused announced each time course is offered. May be repeated for credit up to six hours with different topics. Prerequisites: ENGL 2050 or department head’s permission.
