A study of Africana Womanism and African American and African women writers’ works representative of that ideology. Attention is given to the historical and cultural contexts that shaped this ideology, and to comparable ideologies such as Feminism and Black Feminism. May be registered as WGSS 4430. No credit in both ENGL 4430 and WGSS 4430.
