Survey of the development of sculptural practice in relationship to culture. This course includes discussions, readings, presentations, field trips, and writing on topics that range from the historical role of the object to emerging forms of art making. Studio hours 6. Prerequisites: ART 2140 or department head approval. Spring semester.
