STEM 2020 - Classroom Interactions (3) Credit Hours
Course introduces the principles behind delivering effective instruction in various formats (lecture, lab, digital, cooperative settings); examination of gender, class, race, and culture in mathematics and science education; basics of exceptional education policies and practices; and overview of policy related to mathematics and science education. Field component. Every semester. Prerequisites: University, STEM, and major department grade point averages of at least 2.75; STEM 2010 with a minimum grade of C or STEM Education program Director approval. Admission to the STEM Education program. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
