Readings of poetry from Spanish American from the Colonial Period to the present with an introduction to poetic theory and modes of approaching a poetic work. Prerequisites: SPAN 3110 or SPAN 3120, SPAN 3210 or SPAN 3220, and SPAN 3130, or department head approval.
