Readings of representative works from the Chronicles of the Conquest to contemporary works, with attention to the cultural, political and social background. Alternate years. Prerequisites: SPAN 2120 with a minimum grade of C or placement, or department head approval. Pre or Corequisites: SPAN 3110 or SPAN 3120, and SPAN 3210 or SPAN 3220, and SPAN 3130, or department head approval.
