SOCW 3330 - Diversity and Cultural Competence

This required foundation level course is designed to increase students knowledge, understanding, and awareness of issues related to diversity and cultural competence. Students will enhance core qualities such as self-knowledge, critical thinking skills and effective oral and written communication and develop a respect for diversity and difference. Prerequisites: Admission into the Social Work program or department head approval.
