This course provides a basic understanding of mental health and mental illness. Students are given an overview of the various aspects pertaining to mental health and mental illness. There will be an emphasis on our emerging understanding of cross-cultural competencies and their influences on mental health. On demand. Prerequisites: any Sociology, Psychology, or Anthropology course or department head approval.
