SOC 3450 - Social Inequality (3) Credit Hours
Examination of the causes and consequences of inequality including the distribution of resources and opportunities, both comparatively and historically; the systematic disadvantages associated with race, gender, wealth and income; and the major theoretical perspectives addressing inequality in society. Prerequisites: SOC 1250 or SOC 1510 with a minimum grade of C or department head approval.
