PSY 4270 - Psychology and Contemporary Life


(3) Credit Hours

Examination of how psychological research and perspectives are relevant to an increasingly diverse array of issues in contemporary life. Illustration of that relevance by focusing on a specific topic that will include, but will not be limited to the psychology of money, film, sports, health, multiculturalism, and positive functioning. Prerequisites: 6 hours of behavioral and social sciences, MATH 2100  or PSY 2010 , or department head approval.
