PSY 4270 - Psychology and Contemporary Life

Examination of how psychological research and perspectives are relevant to an increasingly diverse array of issues in contemporary life. Illustration of that relevance by focusing on a specific topic that will include, but will not be limited to the psychology of money, film, sports, health, multiculturalism, and positive functioning. Prerequisites: 6 hours of behavioral and social sciences, MATH 2100 or PSY 2010, or department head approval.
