(3) Credit Hours

Theory of nuclear structure; nuclear radiation characteristics; the interaction of radiation with matter; nuclear binding forces; the control and use of nuclear radiation. Prerequisites: PHYS 2310  and PHYS 2310L  and PHYS 2320  and PHYS 2320L , or PHYS 1040  and PHYS 1040L ; and MATH 2450 , or MATH 2550 , or MATH 2560 ; or department head approval.
