Study of and practical experience in preparation and performance of operas and opera scenes. Attention to requirements of various style periods. Emphasis of development of musical and dramatic skills and stagecraft techniques. Every semester. Students enrolling may elect to take the course for zero credit or 1 credit hour. For those registered for 0 credit, grades assigned with Satisfactory (S) or no Credit (NC). Students enrolled for 1 credit hour will be graded a standard letter grade (A, B, C, D or F).
