NUTR 2360 - Food Science (4) Credit Hours
Basic scientific concepts related to the selection, care, and preparation of foods; emphasis on chemical and physical properties and their interaction with environmental variables. Lecture 3 hours, lab 2 hours. Prerequisites: NUTR 1350 , CHEM 1110 /CHEM 1110L , and CHEM 1120 /CHEM 1120L or department head approval. Corequisites: NUTR 2360L or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
