GEOL 4510 - Structural Geology

Theory and principles of rock deformation, description and classification of common geologic structures, and laboratory methods to solve structural problems. Field trips. Fall semester, alternate years. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours. Prerequisites: GEOL 3420 with a minimum grade of C or department head approval. Corequisites: GEOL 4510L or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
